Thisbeautifully crafted sea turtle shaped Karimba (also knows as a kalimba,Mbira or Thumb Piano) is hand made from a coconut shell, with the legs,tail and head hand carved from Indonesian Albessia wood.Metal keys are suspended above the acoustic chamber and when pluckedwith the fingers or thumbs make a delightfully rich note. Thisgorgeous mbira is great for use as a decoration, and makes a greateducational gift for children. NOTE: Because these are hand-carved,there may be slight differences in design from the pictures.
